Our Policies
Doctor Flue, inc. has these policies in place so you have a positive experience before, during, and after your chimney sweep.
- Personal assistance. A live person answers our phones each weekday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This person answers your questions about our chimney sweeping services and schedules any appointments or consultations you need.
- Friendly reminders. After you book, we contact you by email, text message, or phone call at least three days before your scheduled date to confirm your appointment time.
- Professionalism. A CSIA certified chimney sweep employed directly by Doctor Flue, inc. always completes your evaluation or sweep. We do not use subcontractors.
- Evaluation. Your evaluation report includes pictures of any areas of concern.
- Prompt arrival. We work to arrive on time. In the rare case that something changes our arrival time, earlier or later, we will always call.
- Photos. During the visit, your technician shows you photos of your flue and chimney (if applicable) on a mobile device we call the FluePad.
- Formal written proposal. If your flue or chimney needs repair, you receive these pictures with a formal written proposal. It lists your options for repairs or upgrades and exactly what each one costs.
